Lisa Teng  is a Taiwanese guitarist and sound artist currently pursuing an MFA in Music Composition and Technology at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. With a B.A. in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University, her profound understanding of text, culture, and history subtly informs her sonic explorations and creative philosophy.

Her work specializes in blending acoustic instrumentation with experimental electronics to create immersive sonic landscapes where emotion and space intersect. By integrating real-time electronic systems and interactive visuals, she facilitates a live dialogue between sound and environment. Lisa’s interdisciplinary practice spans sound art, theater, free improvisation, and generative art. Driven by uncertainty and immediate perception, she explores how sound responds to internal states and environmental shifts, constructing a narrative-driven sonic language between order and chaos.

In addition to her experimental work, she is a professional session musician active in diverse genres, including Mandopop, indie rock, and jazz.
